2024 Derby Day Fundraiser at Harry Buffalo Lakewood

Join us at Harry Buffalo for the greatest TWO minutes in Sports where you have a chance to own the winning horse at Churchill Downs and support Lakewood Ranger Softball! (No attendance necessary to win).

How it Works

  • The fundraiser will run through May 4th at 9:00 PM.

  • Horses can be purchased online for $20 each. Multiple horses can be purchased!  Sales close at 11:59pm on Thursday, May 2.  

  • Payouts per board will depend on how many boards are sold.  Examples are below. 

    • 7 boards are sold.1st place winner will receive $120, last place will receive $20.

    • 10 boards are sold. 1st place winner will receive $180, last place will receive $20.  

  • Horses that scratch on the day of the event will move to last place on each board. 

  • Horses and boards will be randomly selected and adjusted for multiple entries. 

  • Horses will be drawn on Friday, May 3rd.  

  • Completed boards will be posted Saturday, May 4th, with each board posted individually with entries listed on the Lakewood Athletic Boosters page as well as FaceBook and Twitter 

  • All winning entries will be distributed via PayPal or Venmo or by Coach Yousko
